​By utilizing Die Therm’s die and thermal design consulting services, casting yield, which is the ratio of shipped weight to as-cast shot weight, may be increased significantly. Our experiences have shown typical yields between 40% and 60% in most die designs. The results from our designs are yields that range between 65% and 75%.
